This Privacy Policy describes how Retail Ledger ("we", "our", or "us"), provided by Dinesh-dev, collects, uses, and shares your personal information when you use our mobile application (the "App").

1. Disclosure of Personal and Sensitive User Data

Your privacy and data safety are our top priorities. This section explicitly discloses the sensitive data we collect:

• Phone Number: We collect and transmit your mobile phone number to authenticate your identity via Google Firebase Authentication. This is used to secure your account and sync your data.
• Contact List (Company Contacts): The App allows you to manually enter names and phone numbers of the companies/suppliers you deal with. This data is used only for maintaining your internal business records and is stored securely in your private database. We do NOT access your device's contact list automatically.
• Business Records: We collect and store your purchase history, payment records, and company details to provide the core ledger functionality.
• Device Identifiers: We may collect standard identifiers such as IP address and device IDs for security, performance monitoring, and to prevent fraudulent activity.

2. Data Collection & Usage Purpose

We use the collected data for the following essential purposes:

• Account Functionality: To identify you and keep your ledger data separate from other users.
• Data Synchronization: To allow you to access your business records from multiple devices in real-time.
• Cloud Storage: To prevent data loss by backing up your records to a secure cloud environment.

3. Third-Party Service Providers

We use Google Firebase (a service provided by Google LLC) for essential app infrastructure:

• Authentication: Secures your login using your phone number.
• Realtime Database/Firestore: Stores your business ledger entries.
• Hosting: Serves the App and this policy.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You have full control over your data:

• In-App Deletion: You can delete specific ledger entries at any time within the app.
• Full Account Deletion: You can request the permanent removal of your account and all associated data.

To request a full account and data deletion, please email purchasetracker01@gmail.com with the subject "Data Deletion Request" and include your registered mobile number. We will process your request and delete all records within 30 days.

5. No Sale of Data

We do NOT sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. Your data is strictly used for the functionality of the Retail Ledger app.

6. Security

All data transmitted between the App and our servers is encrypted using industry-standard SSL/TLS technology. Your records are stored in a secured environment provided by Google Cloud.
